Chapter 1 | This page was last updated on March 12, 2008 |
The list of books given in Section 1.4 will never be complete, but it is relevant
to insert the following addition:
J.M. Thijssen, Computational Physics (1999/2007) Cambridge University Press 1999;
2nd edition 2007. This book is oriented towards physics and physical applications.
The treatment of quantum methods is rather extensive, but the application to large
molecular systems is limited. The book also contains a chapter on high-performance
computing and an appendix on numerical methods. There are exercises and computer programs.
